BPE started with one acre of land in 1973, constructing an 1800 sq. ft. building. It purchased its first injection molding machine in 1974 and made parts that were sold internationally. The business was incorporated in 1977 and in 1978 the building was expanded by another 1200 sq. ft.

Also in 1978, BPE started doing custom molding for other companies including many of its competitors in the archery trade. By 1983, the business had again outgrown its building and was able to purchase an additional 5 acres of land and expand the facility to its present size of 13,000 sq. ft. As the company grew so did the amount of equipment and employees.

Today, BPE makes a wide variety of custom injection molded parts using plastics such as ABS, TPR, Ryton PPS, Acrylic, K-Resin, and Acetal, just to name a few. At the present time BPE has more than 410 active molds in its fire-resistant vault.

A great variety of parts are made at BPE Inc., from archery to the automotive and printing industries, from food handling products to hand engraving equipment.
